Admission Process 2025

Admission into the B.V.Sc. & A.H. program at Khalsa College is offered under three categories:

1. All India Quota (15%)

  • Admission is based on NEET UG 2025 score.
  • Conducted through VCI All India Counselling.
  • Only NEET-qualified candidates are eligible for these seats.

2. State Quota (Punjab Domicile – 65%)

  • Admission is through Punjab University Common Entrance Test or direct merit-based counselling by GADVASU.
  • Applicable for students who are residents of Punjab.
  • Merit list is prepared based on marks obtained in the qualifying exam or entrance exam (as applicable).

3. Management Quota (20%)

  • Open to all India students.
  • Candidates must have qualified NEET UG or any equivalent entrance exam as per VCI norms.
  • Direct admission is offered based on merit and seat availability.

Fee Structure 2025

For State Quota & All India Quota Seats:

  • Tuition Fee: ₹4,50,000 – ₹5,00,000 per year
  • Caution Money (Refundable): ₹10,000 (one-time)
  • Hostel Charges: ₹60,000 – ₹80,000 per year (including mess and amenities)

For Management Quota:

  • Tuition Fee: ₹3,00,000 – ₹3,50,000 per year
  • Development Fee: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per year
  • Caution Deposit: ₹10,000 (Refundable)
  • Hostel & Mess Charges: Extra as per college norms

Cutoff 2025 (Expected)

NEET 2025 (VCI All India Quota):

  • General Category: 470–490 marks
  • OBC Category: 450–470 marks
  • SC/ST Category: 400–420 marks

Punjab State Quota (if entrance is conducted or based on merit):

  • General Category: 80–85% in 12th PCB or equivalent
  • OBC Category: 75–80%
  • SC/ST Category: 65–70%

Cutoff may vary depending on the number of applications, exam difficulty level, and seat availability. NEET-qualified students have better chances across quotas.
