Kerala NEET Eligibility Criteria for Admission
Candidates aspiring to enroll in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BSMS, BUMS, BVSc & AH, and BFSc programs must meet the following requirements:
Nationality & Nativity
- Indian citizens are eligible.
- Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) can apply but are not entitled to reservation benefits.
- Keralite: Candidates born in Kerala or those whose parents are of Kerala origin.
- Non-Keralite Category I (NK I): Candidates who studied in Kerala or whose parents work in Kerala under the government.
- Non-Keralite Category II (NK II): Eligible only for private self-financing college seats under the 15% management quota.
Educational Qualification
- MBBS & BDS: 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) along with a pass in English.
- BAMS, BHMS, BSMS, BUMS: 50% marks in PCB and a pass in English.
- BSMS: Candidates must have studied Tamil in 10th/12th or complete it in the first year of BSMS.
- BUMS: Candidates must have studied Urdu/Arabic/Persian in 10th/12th or must study Urdu in the first year of BUMS.

kerala NEET Counselling Process
1. Online Registration
- Candidates must register at www.cee.kerala.gov.in within the specified timeline.
- Login using the Application Number and Password.
- Provide personal details, upload the necessary documents, and pay the counselling registration fee.
- Upon successful registration, candidates can proceed to choice filling for colleges and courses.
2. Choice Filling & Option Entry
- Candidates must select and prioritize colleges and courses based on their NEET rank and preferences.
- The allotment of seats depends strictly on the choices filled, so careful selection is crucial.
- Candidates can edit, rearrange, or delete options before the deadline.
- Those who fail to submit choices will not be considered for admission.
3. Trial Allotment (Mock Counselling) – Optional
- A trial counselling round is conducted to give candidates an idea of possible seat allotments.
- This round is not final, but it helps candidates assess their standing and make informed choices.
- After this round, candidates can modify their preferences before the actual allotment.
4. First Round of Seat Allotment
- Seats are allocated based on the NEET rank, category, and selected preferences.
- Candidates must download their allotment memo and pay the required admission fee at the allotted college.
- Failure to pay the fee or report to the college within the deadline will result in cancellation of the allotted seat and remaining options.
- Candidates who are not satisfied with their seat may wait for the second round while retaining their higher preferences.

- Admissions are done directly at the college level, with each college preparing a merit list based on available seats.
- Candidates must physically visit the college to secure their admission.
