Maharashtra AYUSH Counselling
Maharashtra’s Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) is responsible for authorizing Maharashtra AYUSH Counseling. Only applicants who have qualified in the NEET exam can apply or participate in Maharashtra Ayush Counseling 2024. Admission to Ayush Courses (BAMS/BHMS/BNYS/BUMS) is solely based on the NEET Scorecard, and only NEET qualified candidates are eligible to apply or participate in Maharashtra Ayush Counseling 2024. The NEET-UG scorecard is recognized by numerous government and private Ayurvedic/Homoeopathic/Unani & Naturopathy institutions in Maharashtra.

Maharashtra Ayush Counselling Process
1. Registration
- Visit the official website of the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State.
- Fill out the Preference Form at https://cetcell.mahacet.org/ if found eligible during document verification.
- Log in using Application Number/Username, Password, and Document Verification Code.
2. Choice Filling & Locking
- Fill a minimum of one and a maximum of 300 preferences.
- Preferences are entered in tabs of 100 each.
- Save preferences every ten minutes to prevent session expiration.
- Once preferences are entered, lock them. They cannot be updated afterward.
- Print a copy of the Preference Form for reference.
3. Seat Matrix and College Choice
- Check the seat matrix table for the desired course and college code availability.
- Verify tuition costs, fees, and terms on respective college websites.
4. Status Retention Form Submission
- If allocated a seat and wish to participate further, do not complete the Status Retention Form.
- Complete the form if not interested in further rounds. Institutes should not force this.
5. Reporting
- Report to the allotted college on the prescribed schedule according to seat allotment.
- Provide original documents and photocopies as required.
