  • NEET Aspirants Maharashtra is close State so other State Students cannot do Counselling only Maharashtra Domicile State can do Counselling and Get MBBS Seat . Institutional Quota MBBS Seat is open for all where fees is very high.
  • Fee structure – 7 to 16 Lakhs per annum.

Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2025

To participate in Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2025, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

General Eligibility

  • Must be an Indian citizen.
  • Must have qualified NEET-UG 2025 with the required cutoff.
  • Must have completed Class 10 & 12 from a recognized board.
  • For state quota seats, candidates should have a domicile certificate of Maharashtra.

Maharashtra State Quota Eligibility

If a candidate has studied Class 10 outside Maharashtra, they must fulfill BOTH of the following:

  • Passed Class 12 from Maharashtra.
  • Hold a valid Maharashtra domicile certificate.

Counselling Process

Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2025 Process

The Maharashtra NEET UG 2025 Counselling will be conducted online through the official website: cetcell.mahacet.org.

Step 1: Registration

  • Visit the official website and click on “Apply Online for NEET-UG 2025 Counselling.”
  • Enter NEET Roll Number, Application Number, and Personal Details.
  • Upload documents and pay the counselling fee.

Step 2: Document Verification & Merit List

  • The Maharashtra CET Cell verifies submitted documents.
  • A Provisional Merit List is released, listing eligible candidates.

Step 3: Choice Filling & Locking

  • Candidates select colleges and courses based on their NEET rank and preferences.
  • Once submitted, choices cannot be changed.

Step 4: Seat Allotment

  • Based on NEET score, preferences, category, and seat availability, the Seat Allotment List is published.
  • Candidates who get a seat must accept or opt for an upgrade.

Step 5: Reporting to College

  • Candidates must report to the allotted college within the given timeframe.
  • Submit original documents for verification and pay the admission fee.

RETENTION FORM / AFTER ALLOTMENT

  • Situation 1: Candidates satisfied with their seat after Maharashtra NEET 2025 Round 1 must download the admission letter, report to the allotted college, and submit the retention form by the DMER deadline.
  • Situation 2: Candidates accepting their seat but wishing for an upgrade must also report to the college with the admission letter. If upgraded in Round 2, the earlier seat will be canceled.
  • Situation 3: Candidates who reject or cancel their Round 1 seat will be disqualified from further CAP or mop-up rounds.
  • Situation 4: Candidates not accepting the allotted seat or opting out of further counselling will exit the admission process.

Maharashtra MBBS Merit List 2025

The admission conducting authority will release the merit list for Maharashtra MBBS 2025 admission in PDF format. Candidates who successfully register and meet the eligibility criteria will be included in the merit list for admission to MBBS courses in Maharashtra.
